After an earlier deal fell through I decided to build up the bike myself. Ridden it twice: a 5okm testride and the infamous Dutch 11-cities tour of 240km. The bike handled it excellent! Now again for sale couse the geometry of the frame doesn't suit me quite like I hoped.

So, here I go again:

Beautiful red/black Jan Janssen Paris Roubaix frameset in mint condition: was build up as a showroom bike at a LBS before I got it.

After contact with mr. Jan Janssen jr. (email correspondence in Dutch can be shown on request) I was told it's a 2000 Jan Janssen Paris Roubaix frameset. Made of Columbus Zona tubes which have been TIG welded (no lugs). Because of the sharp angles of the tubing as well as the shape of the tubes, it's a pretty stiff frame (I can vouch for that!) and for it's time quite light too.

The frameset has no damage at all. Choose from aluminum forks (not oxidated, pearly kind of glow) or alu/carbon Colnago Flash forks (decals removed) for an additional € 50/ 40GBP. If you want the Colnago forks I'll throw in the original alu fork for free.
The installed Pro a-head 1 inch headset has been replaced by a Cane Creek 40 series headset.

Toptube (cc): 57 cm
Headtube: 15 cm
Alu forks steerer tube: 22cm

Standover is around 82,5cm near seattube, 81,5cm near headtube and 82cm in the middle. Pics added.

Frame: 1850 grams
Alu forks: 550 grams
Carbon forks: not yet weighed
