I should've done this at the time but meh.
Here it is now.Just so you know, I'm a fixie poser who doesn't race.
I've coveted all the usual bikes for a while and resigned myself to not being able to afford ALL of them so I asked my pal Trevor http://www.autumnframeworks.com to build be a frame.
I wanted to reference the geo of the Cannondale Track (crossed wires meant that ended up becoming the CAAD 10 Track).
I wanted a triple triangle because GTs are rad.
I fancied a wishbone because #datass.
I wanted to see smooth filet brazing but also some lugged elements.
I knew I wanted to have a visible CK headset 'cause like I already said, I'm a poser.
I'm quite a heavy lad so I didn't want to get a mega high end superlight steel so I opted for Zona.Same story as every other... started as a pile of pipes and became a bike.
Here's a few pics.

Picked up an Alpina fork but it was drilled so we filled it and then based everything with epoxy primer.

I'm a big NJS fan (who isn't?) so I wanted to see some glitter... silver goes on first and then metal glitter flake gets coated all over... https://www.instagram.com/p/BCN-VSOQZIE/?taken-by=colecoatingsworkshop
So Trevor goes by the name of "Autumn Frameworks" so Dan and I used that as the reference for the paint work...
The tubes have leaf silhouettes that flow and cascade around the frame as if falling from a tree. The colour is applied using kandy... a kind of translucent paint that darkens as layers are built up over one another. Effectively all of the leaves are the same colour, only a different age and have seen more layers of paint... kind of like how leaves in real life change colour with age. The frame has smooth filets at the front and then a BB cluster and a 'shield' shape as a reinforcement for the triple triangle. This kinda marked a 'front' and a 'rear' of the frame so Dan made one half predominantly red, and the other half silver. The head badge was left raw but lacquered over. It will need some coaching because the lacquer is isn't stainless so as the frame ages, the leaf will rust and turn brown as would an autumn leaf irl. Now I've written it down it seems a bit OTT and pretentious but it's done now and I'm happy with it.
The build isn't really the most imaginative but it's all good quality stuff that I like... Thomson post and stem, Nitto bars, Phil x Velocity Blunts, DA7710 cranks and BB with an aarn ring.

Wow. Wow. Wow. 10/10 paint.
I am not gonna lie though, I think a carbon fork on this totally ruins it. Would be incredible with a painted to match steel fork.

Aren't you putting some Wound Ups on this?

Good ad for Cole this.

I guess that's a matter of taste. I think they're inoffensive.
Like @b&d says, I picked up a set of Woundups that will likely be painted to match eventually... the Cole Coatings Queue is long right now and we're still working on the new workshop.
@Thrasher, you're right. That was the point really... that's why it's so OTT. We painted it to have it on display at Spin and it did it's job really well.

dibs mash work frame?

I haven't planned to sell it.
It's got brakes and knobblies on it ready for the next off-road to Brighton or Incredibly Cross event etc...
I don't think there's a 'dibs' on it so if you see it for sale on here, remind me and it's yours.
