Hopeful attempt to sell my Ciocc San Cristoball complete though splitting is an (unavoidable?) option in long run.
Owned bike roughly 3 years in which time it's done a handful of sportives and a bit commuting but always been looked after. All good quality parts and all got signs of use but work perfectly.
Allowed my head to be turned by something new, shame really as the Ciocc has never let me down and (unlike what I hope to replace it with) haven't seen another one in all the time I've owned it.
Bike comes with original warranty card from Race Scene in Barnsley and the original chrome fork supplied with frame.
Size is approx 59 square and aside from a few small paint chips and small scrapes touched in by previous owner is in great condition with internal routing for rear brake cable in top tube. There are no frame material stickers but investigation suggests Columbus nivacrom zona alloy double butted. As pictured is fairly light for a steel frame, will add an approximate weight tomorrow.
Dura Ace 7800 front and rear derailleurs, chainset and levers, novatec jet fly wheels, Planet X cnc ultra light ti callipers, chorus ti seat post, selle Italia slr 135g Carbon rails, Easton ec90sl one inch carbon fork......(original chrome fork included)
    Happy to take additional/improved photos...?
In Edinburgh so postage included in price.
    £950 posted
    Andy.

  • Hi there .....I am interested in your fame/bike. I am also in Edinburgh.

I would like to have a lookie lookie

  • Pm replied

  • For what it's worth, complete bike weight as pictured is approximately 17.4lbs, not bad for a steel framed bike and maybe an indication of the quality of tubing used. The frame came into my possession in 2013, at this point Race Scene were still charging in the region of £1500.
Got my eye on something at the moment, all going well I'll likely list individual prices and split.
All not going well I may just keep what I've got?

  • Is the frame a recent one or an old vintage one?

Are the chrome forks also ciocc

  • The frameset was originally sold in June 2011 as marked on warranty card, sorry I'd meant to mention this in original add. The chrome fork is also Ciocc and is original to the frame. I'll add a few photos tomorrow to clarify.

  • Photos of warranty card for frame/fork.

  • Something of an update, new plastic bike with discs been ordered so ciocc listed above is very much still for sale (novatec wheels sold) as is the burls ti I purchased from @b'jammin approx 18 months ago. Photos and prices and probably a new thread to follow tomorrow.....

  • Dibs on easton forks and the high stack stem if you split.

  • Bike is now being split, added a couple of new photos of bike before I strip it completely. This'll likely be a fairly protracted affair but will get prices and photos up asap, everything in Edinburgh so uk delivery will be included in prices.
