Batavus Professional 'AMEV' Colours racingbike SLX tubing 57cm. Big pricedrop £200

BATAVUS Professional bike from around 1990 for sale. Best what Batavus had to offer in 1991. Made out of SLX tubing. It also has the typical team "AMEV" team colours. Dutch Pro Leontien van Moorsel rode on a similar bike.

The bike is in a good condition, has some small flaws that you can clearly see in the pictures. Chrome of the fork is in a very good condition, chrome of the rearstay has faint a littlebit.

Frame is made out of SLX tubing, has a race number holder and a cinelli bottom bracket. The bike itself has completely been refurbished. All the cables are new. It is equipped with a complete shimano 600 triclore group, except the crank & bottombracket which are Dura Ace 7400. The bike originally came with 600 brakes, these were in a really bad condition so I have replaced the with some Shimano RX 100 one's which are period correct and look very good on the bike.

Buy a nice SLX frame with Dura Ace crankset, get a 600 groupset, wheelset and Cinelli finishing kit for free... Total bargain.
