Is it exotic steel? You'd need to google it but some steels are less able to be manipulated post build. You could try stringing from the HT straight past the downtime onto something through your DOs, where your axle would go. If u do it right your should be able to get the centre line of your DOs and determine if both or just one side needs resetting. I've strung a few frames but needed to cold set any yet.
What's it like with the wheel in? -

Good thinking I'll try that. With a wheel in it seems fine, there is some rub on the chainstays but that's normal without being very precise and the clearance is so tight and the wheel was knocked very slightly out of true so I need to correct that before I can properly determine.
It's a concorde frame so I assume 531, nothing more special.Any recommendations as to who I could take it to SE?

Mario Vaz's Bro? seabass cycles in Peckham?
I'm planning to go to Mario Vaz to get a fork sprayed, his brother will hopefully shorten the steerer and extend the threads for me.
Seabass have a frame building and repairs workshop in their copeland road location. I've not used either yet though!

Yeah I was thinking about Seabass. I'll give them a call and see if they're open this weekend.

If you are feeling confident you can give it a go yourself with the help of sheldon

@dry I don't have an issue doint it myself but I'd like reasurrance that it's not doing to explode in to a million pieces at the first sign of stress.
@TheShipwright yes I'm fine, thanks. Just pissed about the bike!

Being nosey did they what it would cost?

£30. I would have done it myself but it would involve getting down to my girlfriend's parents place and I just want to get back on the road!

Sorry for my shocking English, missing the word say.
£30 is good I think
Good luck -

Did this survive?

Sure did!
Had a small prang yesterday which has resulted in my rear triangle being out of alignment. You can see the DS stay is 10mm out and has a small ding (which may or may not be new). Is it advisable to cold set it back or is it dead?
