Classic examples from the forum that fit this bill:
- 2008 Langster
- crashed looking Bianchi Pista
- Ruined 89 Raleigh road frame in 531 converted to fixed and now surplus to requirements due to quadruple knee bypass
- Ruined 89 Raleigh road frame in 531 converted to fixed and now surplus to requirements due to quadruple knee bypass
- 1993 GT Tequesta (more than 18") converted to SS on slicks
- demented looking Frankenbike/pub steed
What I'm really looking for: chrome-moly or aluminium f+f (ie no high tensile); priest, straight or riser bar; post-88 ie post-Weinmann/Modolo side-pull calipers (ie any alloy Miche, Campag or Shimano from Exage on). Am cool with functional cantis/Vs too.
Not really looking for gears but did love the old Genesis Day and pretty into mid-aughts road bike with straight bars vibe, so wouldn't rule anything out.
Actually, I would love an old Genesis Day so get at me if you have one.

The original Gen Day series were the forerunner for every top hybrid since, had a Day02, dogs whatnots, brilliant tight handling, mounts for everything. the Day03 had a Kinesium triple butted frame, Arc carbon forks, carbon bars & s/post plus Dura Ace goodies to boot BUT no mudguard mounts.
