1954 Rudge pathracer £175

  • 1954 Rudge approx 61cm,stripped to bare metal,pump pins and frame lock removed .Bracket holes brazed/welded closed.loads of blemishes and a few dings ,finished with drying linseed oil.
    Vintage brooks B66 mounted on gallows seat post (stiff).
    New dimension Moustache style handlebars on repro stem.
    Homemade leather grips and cork bar ends.
    28 x 1 1/2 superchromix rigida wheels both with pitting.(70's).
    Front secured with Raleigh/Rudge wing nuts.
    New Sturmey Archer duomatic 2 speed kick shift hub with coaster brake built into rear wheel.
    Rudge 'Hand of Ulster cottered crank.
    Old Raleigh/Michelin roadster tyres .
    Cheap rubber platform pedals,would benefit from rat trap style pedals.
    Please note this cycle has not been restored to look like new.It has character and patina.It has a comfortable ride and is quick equally at home on the road or towpath.
    Possible swap for 8'x6' shed or all grain brewing equipment.
