Today a guy from the cable company paid me a visit to fix my internet problems. Turned out his previous job was frame builder for Gazelle and he actually recalled having built this frame. What are the odds.

It is available again. I built it up and used it on a couple of occasions so far, but like I feared it is simply to small for me.

That sounds great. What is the weight inclusive fork? And would you ship to germany?

I don't know the weight exactly, but a typical lugged steel frame weighs approx 2 kg and a fork approx 700-800 gr. I can ship to Germany.

Hello, is this still available?
Up for sale here is a lovely Gazelle Champion Mondial frameset.
I bought this frameset on January 2, after a seemingly endless search for a high end vintage cyclocross frameset. Even before I bought it, I knew chances were that it would be too small for me. Knowing that these frames don't come by very often though, I just bought it anyway. After giving it a thorough cleaning, it has been sitting in my attic waiting for me to decide what to do with it. This weekend I decided to sell it, seeing as the top tube length is simply to short for me.
The frameset is in good condition. The paint shows scratches, paint chips and scuff marks, but overall it still looks really nice. There are no dents or anything alike. Part of the front cable guide is broken off unfortunately. I suppose glueing a ferule in place would be an easy fix for this issue. I have replaced the headset shown in the pictures with a new (N.O.S.) silver Stronglight headset.
Both frame and fork feature Reynolds 531 tubing. Seat tube length is 55.5 cm (C-C) and 57 cm (C-T). Top tube length is 56 cm (C-C). Head tube length is 14 cm. Rear spacing is 130 mm.
I am looking for € 300.00 or 225.00 GBP for the frameset, including shipment to any country in Europe.
