For sale. Colnago 'start' complete bike. As the name suggests, it is an entry level colnago. It has a 7005 aluminium frame size 54 tt ctc with 52.5 st ctc and a 1 inch threadless time colnago branded carbon fork. A mix of campagnolo veloce and mirage groupset with colnago branded itm finishing kit and ambrosio rims. This bike has seen very little use, and as such is in very good condition aside from a few points. Firstly there is a small dink in the top tube. Its not more than a few mm across, and i have tried to show it in the pics. There is also a significant scratch on the downtube, again shown in the pics. Also there is a crack in the left hand crank arm along the top where the taper is. Apparently this was a common warranty issue with these cranks at the time, but this one was obviously never replaced and most likely is the reason that the bike was resigned to the garage. Id imagine a replacement wouldnt be at all hard to source. The bike could do with a service and new cables as they have gone a bit sticky through no use, which i am perfectly prepared to do within the stated price, however that would mean replacing the bar tape. I am perfectly happy to box it up and send it anywhere if required. Price wise i would like £495. Please let me know if im way out on that. Thanks for looking!
