Bought second hand in the middle of last year. Notwithstanding the mileage ridden (as a result of daily use), it's been mechanically (but not so much cosmetically) well maintained.
The paint is scruffy; there are numerous scratches and light chips, and the tyres will need replacing in the not too distant future (they've seen at least 2000 miles). There's no bolt hole to secure a mudguard down by the bottom bracket as the tread went on the plug, so it got removed. Importantly, a bolt connecting the rear rack to a seat stay has pieced the frame. While the bolt remains, no hindrance is caused. Without the bolt - there will be a hole (See pics).
Apologies for the shite pictures and the fact that I didn't even have the decency to clean it before taking them. It’ll get a good scrub pre-sale.
Spec:
Dolan Prefferio 56 frame (accommodates 32c tyres)
Blackstorm Winter Carbon forks
Mavic Aksium Wheelset - Seen miles, but smooth and decent
Continental Gatorskins 25c (as discussed above)
Shimano 105 Shifters, Brakes, 10sp Cassette and Front-Mech, and a Tiagra 10sp Chain-set – All Sound
Dura-Ace rear derailleur - a real party-piece
Tortec rear-rack
Scruffy Specialized Bars and Seat (unexpectedly comfortable), a 110mm Deda stem, and a new integrated headset
Some scruffy chopped-down mudguards included (if desired?) (swapped in from another build to overcome the issue outlined above). They do the job.
Cables and housing is all good.
Cheap lifeline brake pads (fairly new) which are dire in the wet. I'd recommend these be upgraded. It was stupid to scrimp in the first place.
SPDs (but not the ones shown in the pictures)
Based in North London between Kilburn and St. Johns Wood. Viewings are more than welcome from Tuesday (16th) onwards.
I’d like £235, as shown.
For £265 (an extra £30, for all those whose iPhone calculator is out of reach) there’s two brand new Mavic Yksion Guard Elite tyres and a Altura Rackpack (pretty-much new) included.
