A friend has these and the sound quality is excellent.

Thanks, yeah I did do some research before asking for them and the reviews were excellent, although I was also a bit swayed by their looks too. Anyway I'm loathed to sell them but I just don't have a big enough desk so they have to go...

I'd recommend doing what my mate does and stick the sub under the desk or wherever's convenient. The tallboys have a small footprint.

Yeah would do but that's where my desktop is stashed, I've got one of those stupidly big Dell XPS machines... Also it seems a shame to hide such a nice looking subwoofer, hopefully someone will give them a good home. I've also got some old fashioned but good quality beige box type PC speakers to get rid of, made by Cambridge Soundworks, anybody want them for
£5free?

I have a set of these. Dead good. Had em over 10 years? The Sub is designed to go on the floor/under the desk.
Mine is currently linked to my TV and makes a massive difference. -

Still available, price dropped and the Cambridge Soundworks PC speakers are freecycle...
Hi All, I got given a set of these Harman Kardon Soundsticks for Xmas, and while I've read they sound great I don't really have the space for them so they're up for sale.
The system is boxed as new, completely unused with the paperwork etc and is made up of a subwoofer and two satellites with four drivers in each. The system is versatile as it can be connected to any device with a normal microjack socket, like the headphone socket on a laptop, iphone or audio out of a desktop PC etc. Another nice touch is that the distinctive subwoofer glows blue faintly, and the volume controls are touch sensitive (rather than normal knobs).
Anyway these speakers are a design classic, they'll look great anywhere and this model, the Soundsticks III, are the latest version (other than the wireless type). These speakers are still widely for sale and cost £99, I'm asking
£75£70 collected, which given they're basically brand new I think is decent deal. Here are the specs, please pm me if interested, collection preferred but happy to post at cost, cheers.
Specifications:
A 6-inch, 20-watt downward-firing powered subwoofer. Eight 1-inch full-range transducers. Plug-and-play compatibility with virtually any multimedia device. And stunning industrial design that perfectly matches the clarity of the sound.
