I have finally found my motherlode . . . . .
An 1987 Bianchi X4, but no forks. The X4 ones have a sand cast fork crown (investment cast) with Bianchi coat of arms and Bianchi script on the side of the fork crown. Either in all black for the Argentin version or chrome for the celeste version. I'll happily take either, 1" threaded with at least 220mm steerer including thread. Longer is OK, I can cut and rethread it.
At the moment I have some nice look carbon forks which are great but not right.
