Rourke re-build, what groupset?

Hi all, got a problem, would like some advice, I've got a Brian Rourke 531c frame, it's going off to Rourke's early next week for a re-spray, my problem is this: I've got a complete (apart from the STi shifters) 600/Tricolor group set ( will purchase Claris 8v shifters) do I fit this group set to the frame or purchase a brand new Shimano 105 11v group set. Cheers, why do say new group, not the NOS Tricolor?

Dammit

Because it will shift more cleanly, be easier to maintain, lighter, and you've got no intention of a resto/period correct build judging by your mention of Claris shifters - so why keep the Tricolour?

Sell it to someone who IS doing a period bike.

Thanks for your in-put, I knew the answer, just wanted to justify building another bike. I've got too many as it is!
