OT: 35mm Nikon film camera/flash

I'm having a clearout of surplus film camera gear I have accumulated and hoarded. What with a house move on the cards, I can't be keeping all my stuff...

Nikon FE2 body £45
This body is in good working order. It has brand new light seals and shoots fine. It has some signs of use and some of the black paint has rubbed off on the edges but it has served me well. Comes with strap.

Nikon SB-15 flash speedlight + case

This flash is in good aesthetic condition and is in working order.

Pick up is from Stoke Newington evenings and weekends, Fleet street area on weekdays

Bargain price for that OM10... love mine, picked it up in Norwich for £50 and have seen them going for £100 in shops here (The London).

I got mine for that price and also an OM20 for a similar price (lens included)

Yep! To be fair, I see most camera shops in London as scammers... I saw a Contax T2 for £500 in a shop in Hatton Garden.
Jokers.

However, they do have rent to pay so they can’t compete with ebay and if you are talking about Sendean, then I would think they would have serviced any machines they were selling (I'd hope!), but that example is a little optimistic to say the least...

Rent doesn't mean you can double the prices of your goods. I bought my OM10 from a shop in Norwich, picked up a T2 for less than half of what Sendean wanted from the same shop...

Teddington Photographic and Chiswick Camera Centre seem to be a bit more realistic with their prices.
I got some lens from the former and developed a few rolls with the latter.

Teddington Photographic had a second shop in Twickenham (the Kodak Express) which they closed last year, but you could ask them to develop film using the traditional way with chemicals instead of scanning the negatives and printing them. I think they can still do that in Teddington.

Well yeah, I wouldn't buy anything from Sendean!
