None of us have a blind clue what rare frames look like...
-
• #9
Looks like a frame with a false paintjob, with a lot of probablies, and a massive price tag
-
• #10
I'm still waiting for pics of the jacket...
-

Listen pal, I've seen better sales threads with more extensive pictures for bar ends.
Take some better pictures, maybe a picture of the bottom bracket with the frame number, some shots of the lugs as well as a shot of it built up and maybe a shot of who's supposed to have ridden it etc.
Sorry if I missed something and GLWS...

Yes man
i have some problems with uploading my photosAnd thanks for your reply
its just that i am struggling with this frameset for months
and after my homework and talking with people from SBDU this is the real thing -
• #17
Wait.
So you're greedy (quoted from the previous thread):
I dont want to price on something this full of history and later regret is sold of for to less
You're lazy:
just think about a price that you think is fair
And behaving like a spoilt child:
Asking 3000,- euro just because i have to put a price and cannot put zero
Fuck off.

@Scilly.Suffolk
thanks for your replyi guess i came off the wrong foot

Why dont you get it repainted in traditional sbdu colours, learn how to work the internet (uploading photos to flickr etc.) then offer it up on ebay for your ridiculous asking price then you never know.. some yank might just pay it.
-
• #20
i was thinking of repainting it
but i have to many other frames to work onmy price of 3000 is not seriuous and to be honest and i also took this off
i dont want to come over as a greedy fuck or some twat..
But try to understand my view
yes its has been repainted but still its a very rare 70/s SBDU team frame which back in those days they did not use the SB prefix -
• #21
More constructively, if you can't put a price on it then put it on eBay.
Although I don't see why you can't come to a valuation, with a little effort on your part.

OK first my excuses
i started of way wrong and that has been pointed outI changed the advert
and instead of making a ridiciolous price which its not even reasonableI think 1500,- is a fair asking price
-
• #23
for some reason the photos did not upload
I changed the advert and added some photos
-
• #24
Yeah, I think we all know its rare.. but make the effort to get it repainted then you might get a fair offer from someone. Especially if its done well.

@BigH to be honest i have this frame for almost 8 months and i have been talking to so many people about it..
i could restore it but atm i lost my energy for it
that is why i want to to sell the frameset
BUt maybe you are right and i should think a bit more before i post itI guess i made a mistake…….
I made a mistake by listing this amazing piece of history without a price
Asking 1500,- euro
