With a current project the ideal scenario is to set the scene - tell us what you are going to do then drip feed tit bits of the build to whet peoples appetite.
If you give us everything in one go there is less opportunity to comment and less chance of a dialogue with the other forum members.
Have a look at a dammit bike build - he is the master at this stuff.

Whatever make him happy.
TBH I'm surprised you didn't go for a different fork.

Yeah I meant to get the pics up earlier I just never got round to it. Was really just hoping for people's thoughts as to what I could do better or what people would like to see on the bike. Always room for improvement lol.

What would you be thinking?? Maybe some alpinas?

Or even those Surly Steamroller fork, easiest way to make your bike look very classic.

They look awesome. May have to order some of those after Christmas. Id love to have it rolling on some aerospokes or a trispoke. Its all a question of money

Looks good! A lot of seat post though

yeah I know. I'm stuck with really long legs. I even had to put on 170 cranks.
-
• #19
Advantage of long legs mean cranks length aren't important.
You should put riser on it, make it a lots more fun since your others have drop bars.

I was looking to get some risers. Would you recommend any in particular??
-
• #22
They're riser, get the cheapest one in the correct size and match the stem.

Low rise and wide are in fashion. Standard easton ones work fine and you can acetone the graphics

Not convinced how wide bars help with darting through traffic.. Usually trim them down to pedal width to squeeze by rows of side view mirrors
Nice job on build so far

wtf? is your body slimmer than the width of your pedals? Not sure how bars narrower than your body will help you darting through traffic!

I have a bike in with me at the moment that was in desperate need of some love.
So I decided to make a custom build with custom 1 off paint to make a bike that I would be pleased to have the company name on and someone would enjoy riding.
Just posted on here to see people's thoughts and if anyone has something they would like to see on the bike or some constructive critasism please let me know.
