What series/group are the shifters?
After 7900 ideally, but not too fussed.

good price on wheels; shimano 11sp I presume?

Next in line for the shifters please

GLWS!

Not entirely sure TBH. They're 10spd, and say SL-BS79 on them, so does this mean they're 7900 series? They have that usual "snail trail" etching that you always seem to get on the silver bits of TT shifters (what causes this btw?), but they work perfectly.

Pretty sure these wheels were from a time before 11 speed, so not sure if they'll take an 11 speed cassette or not. I used to use them with a Campag free hub on it and that was ok with 11 speed, but I've only ever used it as 10 speed since I put a Shimano free hub on it. As it's basically a Hugi 240S I suspect you could get an 11 speed free hub from DT Swiss these days...

I know it's been started but awesome wheels and great price. Best wheels I've ever had. Tempted but must resist. Do you still gabe campy freehub?
-
• #13
Thanks for another recommendation, they are great wheels. And sorry, no, I'm using the Campag freehub on another Reynolds wheelset so it's not available.
-
• #14
And another dibs for the shifters, pm sent :)

• #15
Sorry chap. Shifters are paid for and in the post already. Thanks though.

Update: shifters sold, interest by PM today in the Omniums, MTB cranks and Reynolds. Saddle still looking for love. First dibs to those who posted interest in the 2x cranks and wheels today, but will mention here if they become available again. Thanks.

Omnomnomnoms fair game again. Nom.

Did the SMP Evolution saddle sell? Do you have a revised price if not...?

Omniums still about!?
SRAM Omnium GXP chainset, 48T, black, 172.5mm. 73 miles old! Minty. £100.
Reynolds MV32C carbon clincher wheels. These were the top end wheels from Reynolds at the time, with higher grade carbon than the equivalent Attack model. Light, aeros and fast. Upgraded with CX Ray silver spokes, DT Swiss made Reynolds branded hubs. These have Hugi 240s internals. Shimano freehub, no tyres or skewers. Carbon specific pads always used (Swissstop yellows) and the rims are in great condition. £350.
Selle SMP Evolution black saddle. These are very very expensive new, but fantastic quality and the only saddle I've found that doesn't give me numb plumbs in the TT position. Don't TT anymore, don't need this anymore. Very low mileage on the saddle, but the odd scuff. £90.
FSA mountain bike chain set. Removed from my Superfly shortly after buying it from new. Double. Fits shimano bottom brackets. £8.
Shimano 10 speed TT shifters £20.
I'm based near Maidstone in Kent. Pick up preferred, but could post at cost in addition to the stated prices. Shout if you have any questions. Thanks, Damian.
