So how expensive is it then
Does the saddle height adjust -
• #5
The two halves of the frame separate from one another* eventually if you ride them so I would imagine that this will be sold as a wall-hanger, therefore size is not that relevant.
*See Dr Hutch for an entertaining description of this happening as he was riding one.

Saddle height is fixed and the bicycle is size small 52/54cm, yes this is more of a collectable piece.
-
• #7
And how much are you offering this collectors piece for?
-
• #8
Probably something to be discussed in person once you have seen the bicycle
-
• #9
Hutch is indeed a good writer. I only recently made the connection from the cycling weekly oddball to his collected works and am now making my way through his oeuvre starting with Faster.

I'd say it's probably something anybody who was going to even consider buying this would want to know as a first discussion point, well in advance of organising a viewing.

Besides, rules of classifieds clearly state that you have to price items/articles as opposed to embarking on a fishing expedition...
-
• #12
Some quick research will tell you the price of these.

I think it's not actually a rock solid rule but still, it's frustrating.

Lot number 107 is similar, lot number 108 is a bit less tidy:

There's a chap in my club who rides one every week and holds a VTTA 50 record on it. It's in one piece.
I had no idea they were worth this many dorrah. Might nick it.
-
• #23
Surprised nobody is banging out fakes if they are worth that much.
