SRAM Automatix 2 speed wheel
Internal centrifugal mechanism (no cables, no shifter).
I had it built into a wheel using an Ambrosio 700c rim by the renowned wheel builder Big Al of Wheeelcraft (near Glasgow).
I modified the spring tension that controls the shifting point as per this blog-http://mccraw.co.uk/sram-automatix-review/
This makes the hub shift up at approx 23 km/hr (according to my GPS watch).
I'm including a 19 and a 22 tooth sprocket with the wheel. This is a freewheel version- not the coaster brake.
Set up as a 42 x 19 (as per McCraw's blog), here are the gear inch stats for the hub-
1st gear 58"
2nd gear 82"
Set up as 42 x 22-
1st 50"
2nd 68"
I've only used it for about 500km and it's in almost new condition.
Looking for £70 (which is a bargain considering the hub alone costs £60).
No tyre included in sale.
Location Kilbarchan near Glasgow- I can courier the wheel anywhere within the UK.
