Check out Alex Singer's shop. It's in a suburb about a half hour ride from central Paris. One of the great French constructeurs of the mid 20th century. The shop is incredible and if you hang about a bit and maybe buy a bidon, you may get invited into the workshop in the back where they still build all of their frames and handmade components and racks. Coolest shop I've ever been to, and filled with amazing bikes too.

Am at the girlfriends house for half term.
Intend on doing a bit of riding out to nearby woods, take my fat bike, and taking the dslr for a wander. Bit of DIY at hers and work on a car. Intend to actually go in to Paris and cycle around a bit.
Go out friday afternoon/evening back sunday the week after I think.

Fair enough. I can't find anything too exciting exhibition-wise, but there's an art festival on. I think I'll be bumming around and drinking too many coffees. Hit me up maybe, I'll be on the silly bike.
Oh, I am tempted to check out the ruinous human zoo, which is a bit of a trek NW of central Paris. Depends on weather and route. May be interesting, may be wank.

Looking at messynesschic.com there are a few places that look quite good for a bit of an urban wander.
It's gonna be a grueling journey there and back on the coach! The Mayfair folder will see me around Paris for a week (I hope), looking forward to cycling instead of walking/metro'ing.
I've been a half dozen times, got friends there so the majority of tourist stuff is ticked off... but still, anything I may have missed already?
Any suggestions cycling related? Bike shops? Curiosities?
