Thanks!
There aren't many of these around, great alternative to Vitus ones and as comfortable.
It works well too and the wheelset was upgraded from a Maillard Helicomatic 6 Speed.It will be easy enough to turn it into a single speed as the wheelset is for freewheels.

Forgot to say that the frame / forks have mudguard eyes.
They also offer sufficient clearance for both mudguards and larger tyres - I would say up to 700x x 28mm.
Would make a good winter commuter!

NOW SOLD
Hi all,
I have a vintage aluminium Peugeot Cosmic A 300A W bike going spare - I have just serviced it and it rides really well. A lot of new parts fitted too.
It is a 58cm square frame so will fit someone around 5ft10 / 6ft1.
This is a 1988 bike and at the time, Peugeot did 3 different models of (Pechiney) aluminium frames following on the success of TVT / Vitus - these were all made around the same frame and were the Galaxie / Comete / Cosmic - only the equipment changed.
This has been upgraded through the years and is currently equipped with:
Philippe' alloy bars, new blue cork bar tape;
(14-28t) and new Vittoria Pro-Team Open Extreme 700x20 clincher
tyres - wheels have been trued and show minimal wear;
It is in good overall condition, the only damage being to the stickers which can all be removed.
The main tubes have been anodised silver and the lugs/headtube are easy to polish.
The frame number is 7 04 13046.
Viewings / test rides from Stoke Newington.
Price wise, I am after NOW SOLD FOR £250 for the complete bike.
