• Hi all,

    Much aeroness...

I have a complete Forti Titanium lo-pro bike going spare.
I have only ridden it for 417.6 km in over 2 years so it's time to let it go...

It is quite a rare beast as it was made to measure for an ex-Team GB squad by Forti in Lithuania, it is painted titanium with a crimped top tube and aero tubes all around. Takes 1 1/8th forks.

Size wise, Forti classify it as a "54cm" but the actual measurements are 52cm ST c-c , 56cm ST centre to top of the aero wedge. The top tube is 56cm TT c-c sloping.
It is set up for me at 5ft10.5 / 32" legs (I am not very flexible) so I would say it'll fit someone 5ft8.5 to 6ft.

It is in decent nick all around, the custom paint has a couple of paint chips, nothing major. No dents.
I bought the frameset 2.5 years ago and built around it so most parts have seen very little use. It comes with 2x forks.

Parts wise, here is what it comes for:

Cockpit & brake: Profile Design Aero Carbon CBX TT Bars 42cm (will come with the clip-on extensions). Pro-Lite 80mm OS Stem. Fi:zik microtex black tape. TRP Aero carbon brake lever matched to a TRP T925 aero brake.

Gearset: 165mm Stronglight 2000 silver Chainset & matching square taper BB - Black 47t Factory5 Lattice Chainring. New SRAM track chain. Plain Cro-Mo 17t rear sprocket.

Forks: Comes with 2x forks, both with 43mm rake:
Easton EC90 forks with a couple of lacquer chips;and
brand new set of beefy Orbea TT aero forks with a front shield. Much aeroness indeed.
I need to get a long brake bolt to fit the TRP T925 brake (currently not fitted), also it is currently set up with no stack cover and a @mdcc_tester would fit nicely there.

Wheelset: I had these build at Christmas from 2 different wheelsets and are a visual match. Perfectly straight and true.
Silver Miche Primato track hubs with new track nuts.
Front wheel has a silver Mavic OpenPro clincher rim with braking surface (was previously used as a rear rim).
Rear wheel has a silver Charge Dish rear clincher rim which is slightly deeper (was previously used as a rear rim on a Charge hub).
Tyres are new Aero (Planet X) 700x23c.

Asspit: Carbon aero seatpost, I believe the brand is "Regal"and I purchased it new 'on here' and fitted it to the bike. Saddle is an ISM Adamo Prologue. Seatpost Clamp is a 30.9mm Hope in black anodised alloy.

Price wise, I am after £600 for the complete bike (including both sets of forks and the TT bar extensions) which I think is a decent price.

SWAP: I am after a titanium road bike so ideally a 55cm top tube but could live with 54cm/56cm.

You can come and try it in Stoke Newington.

When new, it looked like this:

And I had it like this before:

  • Swap added.

Looking for a road ti frameset so some around 55cm would be nice.

    Money either way.
