Would this not work to convert the shimano cassette?

Unfortunately no, the freehub is the same as the one in a DA 7400 hub and it attatches to the hub by in a different way compared to all other shimano hubs.

Hi,
For sale I have a Specialized rear trispoke. 8 speed shimano cassette, it has recently had a damaged free hub replaced with a much better condition one. Comes with cheap tyre and tube. Overall the condition is great, bearings are smooth. A little bit of play with the cassette but I think that could be easily corrected if it was tightened properly. Can't be converted to track or front. I believe you will be able to run 9/10/11 speed cassettes but from what I've read online, the last 1 or 2 cogs might not fit on. Not 100% on that though. The wheel isn't perfectly true but I believe that is the case of all trispokes. You can find videos of the wheel spinning here to see for yourself.
Looking for £140 >>> £130 >>> £120
Collection from Finsbury Park or if you aren't too far I'm happy to drop it off to you.
Cheers!
