Recently I was involved in a head on collision with another cyclist on my way home, reactions diminished by shopping balanced on handlebars. Duing damage assessment, I realised that the forks had been bent backwards preventing wheel turn past the down tube.
Talked to the local mechanic and he seemed dubious as to whether he could fix it, but heard something about using a vice? Doubtlful any other Elans in Norway, so looking for possibility of replacement forks incase there is no possibility of a fix (which I would prefer).
Thanks in advance.
