Help Identify Mtb

Please can someone please help me Identify this Mtb. It is at least 20yrs old and sized at 21''.

Specialized rockhopper, late eighties early nineties.

I thought those rockhoppers were steel. That is aluminium, no? Don't think it can be a 'dale as those were fillet bazed back then rather than those bubblegum welds. No idea how you'd id that, forks look like Tange big forks or similar.

Looks like a British Eagle BOSS to me. One of the kids has one. Nothing particularly special in it's time but all the better for being covered in XT.... and those MA40 MTB rims are like hens teeth!

Is it a Raliegh Lizard?

That's no Raleigh Lizard, it's alu for a start.

Biopace, XT and Mavic all say it's pretty decent and would have been desirable BITD. Exage hubs?
