Paintjob is TBD, but will probably include glitter, unicorns, and maybe a tiara.

Why the Di2 levers when it's a fixed?
-
• #4
They will be overspecced light switches.
Maybe even overspecced bells.
-
• #5
Or lasers.
-
• #6
Ah, so no hydro brakes then?

Good point - the list was incomplete
- TRP HY/RD caliper & Problemsolvers 2:1 doubler

sounds snazzy as fuck!

Are you trying to beat me in the most expensive pathracer competition?
-
• #10
Is that the noise of a gauntlet hitting the deck that I hear?
-
• #11
Why not a rear brake as well?
-
• #12
and why not shimano hydraulic brakes?
-
• #13
I hope so, if tw or you spend more than i can feel less bad about spending an amount even DJ would consider a little bit over the top for a sensible fixed bike.

Alfine levers are not hydraulic it seems.
If he took hydraulic levers he would have two switches to play with. That's too much probably. :D -
• #15
- Powertap track hub on the rear.
- Powertap track hub on the rear.

I would only need one hydraulic brake, as I've no real need to run a rear brake.
And the Shimano ones are fuuuugly.
-
• #17
^ No real need for one
-
• #18
hylex and use sprint/climber buttons instead for fancy light switches?
-
• #19
my track powertap was cheaper than the phil wood hub i got on my pathracer */cries/*
-
• #20
Possibly
-
• #21
I spoke to Hope about this, they said that there was no way to make two levers operate one caliper in the way in which a problem solver allows two cable brakes to operate one caliper.
-
• #22
I'll just have one as a dummy, most likely.
To make my commute more fun, I'll randomly change which one that is.

4 years on, and I have still not received anything from @coldharbour for the £3,500 or so that I have paid him for this bike.
[Edit] this is the original post [edit]
My first new fixed build for a long time. For commuting.
