FS: Lee Cooper Reynolds 653 LA Cycles frameset or bike kit 54cm

For sale Lee Cooper LA Cycles Reynolds 653 frame and forks with strong light A9 alloy headset, possibly available as a kit but i'll get to that...

Purchased this a couple years ago just after the previous owner had it resprayed in high gloss epoxy 2k black and built it up into a commuting and weekend bike. Lovely frame, light and responsive, tight geometry with some nice detailing such internal cable routing.

Comes up as a 54 but measurements are: Seat tube 53 centre to top; top tube 55 centre to centre; stand over height 80 cm / 31.5 inches (with 700c's fitted), 13omm rear spacing.

After a couple years daily use it's picked up some scuffs and chips and the paintwork around the lugs cracked on first build but overall the condition is still very good.

Built up as complete bike;

Unfortunately it's just not getting used anymore and and after 6 months of hanging on wall it's time to sell, Frame and forks with headset £135.

I also have the 16 speed 105 seen above for sale and a few other bits so possible sale options could be;

Frameset, 105 groupset, Deda 215 compacts, ITM stem and any other bits i can find £260

Did a little research and found that it's 653 not 631!

frame numbers as follows;

LA - have pic pre paint
8336 - still visible
Everest - still visible
215233 - have pic pre paint

I'll put some up later, for the record it's completely cosmetic, they just laid the paint on a bit thick around the lugs.

Sadly this is back up sale! I ended up buying Lucy's CAADX in a fit of madness, which now gets a lot of use.

Sorry dude, I even semi built it up...but space is tight.

It's super nice, super light and has crazy tight clearances. Someone come and give it some love.
