Wanted: 25.4-26.0 shim

Looking for a 25.4mm -> 26.0 mm shim for a pair of handlebars. Just wanting to try out a few stem lengths so only really needing to borrow rather than buy.

I bought some 0.3mm brass sheet off eBay - works a treat and a lot more reliable and less slippy than layers of coke can. I think Nitto do an official one though.

Thanks guys. I'd thought of coke/beer can but wasn't keen on having to use more than one layer. The brass sheet idea is a good idea, I'll give that a look.

Use a coke can, cut a suitable width strip with scissors, put it on/around bar and into clamp area, twist handlebars to iron out any creases in the can and get it to sit right. Take apart trim/repeat if sides stick out of stem.

I actually have some brass you can have for free. Hackney Road up until about 5 today.
