Repeat with Loctite?

either you didn't lock the lockring properly, or it is jumping threads. In the latter case, you need either epoxy or a bb that tightens on itself rather than threads into the frame.

Maybe you're being too gentle?

The last time i tightened the lock ring so much that I can't undo it now. Where would I put the loctite?
Where can I find a bb that tightens itself?

^ Seen this bb posted in a few threads recently. Should it become the de facto forum response to people's problems? Even in the "end of a relationship" and "loss of a pet" threads?

They should give them away free with every British Cycling subscription.
Nah... That would never happen.

I've never used one.
I Would have suggested Simano UN55, but I dont think that would have answered the poor unfortuante gentleman's question.

Would just a regular new bb just fix my problem then?
I take it there is nothing I can do other than a replacement?

If your bb is loose fitting another threaded bb will not help. A threadless bb is needed. The threads in the shell are probably damaged and they cannot be repaired easily. Prestige or first are your two main options.

If it is coming loose because you didn't tighten the lock ring correctly, then you can fix it by tightening the lock ring correctly.
If it is coming loose because the BB is tiggered in some way, then replacing with a normal cartridge BB (like shimano un55) will do the job.
If it is coming loose because the threads in the frame are tiggered, that's bad, and you either need to epoxy the bb (if it is a crap frame you don't care about) or a BB that clamps against the frame and threads into itself.
Hi,
I have a cheap SS for the station, the bb feels loose. I loosened the lock ring and tightened the inner part with bb tool with two pins. This worked for a few days but then worked loose again.
Can someone advise what I need to do here, is it case of replacing the whole bb or could it be something else?
Thanks.
Lee.
