Don't sell

Nooo!
Obvs if you need to sell you need to sell and it's a great bike but noooo!
Proper good buy for someone though, this bike has been loving built up and is in tip top condition for sure. Orko looks after his stuff!

Yes. Genuine interest?
-
• #9
That, sir, is a fine steed.

-
• #11
Sir. Cheers, much appreciated.

Having this bike keep appearing at the top isn't helping me to resist. Must be strong, must be strong!

saw this in the flesh, (and i think, a few times in the clerkenwell area?), really nice bike and pretty immaculate. bummer you have to sell!
-
• #14
That would have been me on loop rides via Clerkenwell. Thanks for the appreciation, it is a shame and though hesitant, needs must sometimes.
-
• #15
Strong Man. I have to probably sell one of my babies, but can't really force myself to!
-
• #16
It's a tough decision that's for sure, good luck if you do have to sell though.
-
• #17
I don't particularly want to place this on EvilBay, that would suck immensely. A few enquiries but no actual viewers, which seems a shame really. hmmm.

• #18
GLWS ... lovely bike
-
• #19
Could you not sell something you dont need as much, like a kidney perhaps? Or a bollock? Or your gran? That is a cracking looking bike mate!
-
• #20
I've no grandparents on this earth to sell, kidneys are worthless, everything else remains intact - thanks for the bike compliment, she's for sale though.
-
• #21
Absolute bargain. Shame I'm too short for it. Have a ThunderBump. :)
-
• #22
Not sure how this hasn't been snapped up yet. Massive bargain for a lovely bit of ti.

• #23
Much appreciated, my first ThunderBump too :-)

Potential buyer has shown interest, will update once conversations are complete.

I'd be all over this if I still lived down there. Orko's bikes are minty. Very very tempted
So, as the thread title suggests, I'm not 100% I'm doing the right thing by selling, but in the midst of setting up a new business this seems to be a potential cash injection that would really help, but slightly hesitant as I put a lot of effort into getting this ride working and fitting the way it does.
Frame is Litespeed Arenberg, decals are clean and clear though do show their age a little. But in my opinion very much in keeping with the period of the bike - I did contemplate renewing them, but came to the conclusion it would be a lie so did'nt entertain it longer than about half a beer. Forks are unbranded Columbus Tusk, and clean as the day they were born!
Full Campagnolo Record Ti and carbon groupset - Though cranks are FSA Carbon. I switched out the chainrings for Specialites TR Syrius 50/34 as the original chainrings were very very worn, and fitted a new 10 speed chain.
Bars, Stem and seatpost are all Pro Pilot, and decalled as so, though the decals are well worn. Headset is Campag Record, and with the Carbon Top cap it does make the bike pretty complete.
Saddle is Selle Italia SLK, I've found it super comfy to be fair, first ride out to Southend was no problem at all. Brake calipers are Mavic, no issues with function though personally they actually suit the bike pretty well. Then wheels are Maviv Aksium One, and they ride like a dream.
Tyres are brand spanking Hardshells - purely and simply because I like them as tyres and gotten used to riding them on all my road type rides.
Frame dimensions
Seat Tube C-C - 56cm
Seat Tube to TT - 59cm
Top Tube - 56cm
There's about 30mm of steerer to trim should that be your style, but it's currently set up for me and I'm a gnats whisker off 5'11"
Not a splitter, not entertaining that conversation - It goes as intact, £1200.00 as seen.
I'll possibly wake with a cold sweat and withdraw, I'm not honestly sure unless a a bowl of cash is too tempting to resist. I'll add more detailed photos if there's a genuine buyer.
EEk.
