lovely frame, could be Rauler built (bb cutout)

@cw2 Negri is a well known Italian frame builder who to my knowledge never worked as independent but always as employee for the like of Freschi, Benotto, Moser, Cinelli.
Unfortunately I can't say much about Aimi itself though. -

Thanks for the info, Negri was just a guess on my part because of the seat-post. According to google images there are a couple more AIMI special pista frames out there. If anyone is able to shed some light on what this is that would be great.

Sorry are you asking how big? If so they're 700c and the rear spacing is 120mm

Ok the wheel sizes looked different but that cleared thing up, lovely bike shame might be a bit to big with frame size...

I'm selling my complete AIMI track bike. I don't know anything about AIMI but I'm assuming it's Italian built and possibly by Renato Negri as it came with a NEGRI engraved seat-post as well as sharing other similarity's to the bikes that come up on google images when you search his name. Made from some sort of super light old Columbus (the sticker has peeled a little so hard to see). It has really nice un-drilled chromed forks and chromed chain stays and the clearances are very tight, i will take a 25c on the rear but a 25 on the front might rub on the fork. It has some very nice panto-graphs, see pics.
everything in the fist pic is included in the sale apart from the front wheel which will be the front wheel in the pictures below:
Frame: AIMI Special frame 52/53 (i'll get accurate measurements tonight)
Headset: Campagnolo brev headset
BB: Campagnolo (i think, i'll check later)
Rear wheel: Goldtec hub/Mavic open pro (both have been de-anodized so will need polishing up, or left ratty but they run perfectly)
Front wheel: hope hub, open pro rim (again, both have been de-anodized so will need polishing up, or left ratty but they run perfectly)
Crankset: Gipiemme special pista
Pedals: Gipiemme pista pedals (left pedal has lost the cover and the bearings are a little stiff)
Seatpost: NEGRI 27.2mm
Saddle: Selle Italia Turbo
Stem: Cinelli XA 90mm
Bars: Bontrager SSR VRC 40cm
Lever: cane creek cross top
Brake: dia compe clamp on
The pictures below are from when i was first building it up so it's a little bit more ridden now and has quite a few paint chips and is overall more ratty. There's also a few light dents in the chain stay that were there when i bought it and i think they're pretty superficial. I'll take some better pictures of the current set up and condition tonight.
Rides great, very fast and completely silent. I would say the headset could do with tightening slightly and new brake cable but that's it. I'm selling it because I need to pay rent, being 5'6" it took me forever to find a nice old track frame in my size. It was a great while it lasted, i'm so sad to see it go. I was thinking £400 posted, let me know if that's off the mark.
