• This is my winter / audax / touring / commuting bike - and very nice if I say so myself.

Since moving from dat-dere-London to Scotland I've decided I need disc brakes to cope with the Scottish winter so I'm selling this to fund a Croix build.
I'm happy to split or sell complete - depending on interest.
I'll get some photos organised asap but just wanted to gauge interest.

I'm looking for £525 for the complete bike.
If there's interest in splitting then I'll work out prices for doing that.

The 631 frame is superbly comfortable and it's kitted out with a mix of vintage and newer Campag parts to make a classic 8-speed setup

    Spec is as follows:

54cm Pearson 631 frame, dark metallic gray in vgc, rack and mudguard mounts, pump mount on seat-stay
    Carbon forks with mudguard eyelets
    M-Part headset

Mavic XP21 rims on Campag Mirage hubs - vintage but well looked after, spin smooth and rims in good condition
Mirage cassette - lots of life left on it

8-speed Avanti shifters - shift perfectly, hoods in great condition
    Avanti front mech
Veloce (I think?) 8 speed rear mech
Veloce Black Compact 50/34 Power Torque chainset - includes hard-to-find bolt - some rubbing on DS
    Power Torque external BB cups
Shimano long-drop brake calipers (not sure of model)
    Deda 60mm stem
44cm bars - traditional shape, Cinelli gel cork tape in slightly grubby but decent condition
    27.2 carbon RSP inline seatpost
    Brown Madison Flux saddle

NOTE: the tyres and pedals shown are NOT included in the sale. I can put some other tyres and pedals on if needed

  • Some pics of the lovely Pearson.
The paint job is a kind of pearlescent dark grey - it doesn't come out particularly well on the photos.
    Any q's - give me a shout.
Sensible offers or requests to split considered.

  • no, don't think so...

  • or at least that's my idea :D but dunno how to price a 631 frame

  • Thanks for the feedback @anidel !

631? It's kinda mid-range good steel. One step down from 725 I would say.

  • Bump - price drops !

  • No interest, other than @anidel's kind comments ?
I'll move it onto another forum tomorrow - speak now or forever hold your peace

  • Good guy. Somebody throw him a bone, the touring season is upon us.
    Good luck Martin.
