Ridgeback Nemesis SS conversion

  • For sale, one 21" Ridgeback Nemesis. How big's 21" in metric? I have no idea. It was my fiancee's, and she's 5'9".
Just spruced it up a bit, and it runs fine. Can't say I've any experience with drum brakes so you might want to get them checked out - but currently it stops well.
Alu frame and forks, nice big slick tires. FSA Vero cranks, running on the 42t chainring, with a 20t rear sprocket. Think I've some smaller ones in the bike cave if you want a faster ratio. Shimano Nexus/Nexave shifters and brakes.
Not fast, but comfy. Would make a decent pub/short-medium length commuter bike.

£100 ono, collection from Nunhead SE15.

  • Hmm, this isn't proving popular. Should have put more exciting things in the thread title.

  • Any interest at £75 ono? It's not a bad bike, this.

  • I'll ask a mate, might be a chance he'd take it.
My first mtb when I was a kid was a ridgeback so I have a soft spot for them.

  • Cool, let me know.

  • Last chance before this goes on Gumtree. Make me an offer!

  • £50?
