This is definitely for sale. I'm 5'8 and it fits me perfectly. If I had to guess, I would say suitable for 5'5 to 5'9.
Cheers for lookin. Jon -

I'm interested... But not keen on the stickers : )
Can you have a go at peeling them off? Or do you think that would spoil the paint job? -
• #9
Can have a go, shouldn't do any harm, not brilliant adhesive so soapy water should do the trick.
Can't go wrong with an "I love tea" sticker, unless you're a coffee drinker? -
• #10
Well, I do love tea.... : )
Are the seatpost, saddle and stem all included ? -
• #11
They can be.
-
• #12
I don't need them - just wondering
-
• #13
Well they aren't included in the price, so if you don't need em, no problem.
-
• #14
^^ Makes sense ! : )
Sorry for all the questions - this one is about sizing.
I usually ride a 54 - however my LBS suggested sizing down for Genesis.
I'm 5'9" and 29" inside leg. Can I ask your height / inside leg / eye colour ?
(only joking about eye colour - he-he-he....sorry) -
• #15
I'm 5'8, inside leg of 29" and greeny grey, star sign aries.
-
• #16
Ah, sorry - just re-read and saw that you already mentioned your height
It looks like you had a slightly short stem on the bike when it was built-up? Around 80mm ? -
• #17
90mm thomson and 100mm Deda, I ran the 90 because I have a pretty stiff back, so the shorter stem meant I didn't have to stretch as much for the drops.

greeny grey, star sign aries
he-he : )Ok, thanks very much for all the info.
It sounds like pretty much the perfect frame for me. I have various bits waiting in the spares box to go on a winter disc build.I need to consult with my bank account and will come back to you in the next couple of days if that's ok?
You don't want to buy a lovely 631 Pearson frame off me by any chance do you ?
Oh, no, wait - I remember why you're selling this now. : ) -
• #19
No probs. Get back to me either way.
Cheers. Jon -

Go for it Martin. I bought one mostly after seeing jonteas built up and I'm a massive fan of it. The £550 deal seems to be a bit of a bargain as well, I wish he'd been selling all that before i built mine.
-
• #21
Aww man - that's pushin' me close to tipping point! : )
I was re-reading jontea's thread on the build earlier today - realised I had read it earlier in the year and enjoyed it then too.
PM coming jontea's way

Hiya. Are you selling the cowbell bars separately? Thanks
-
• #23
Nope. Just frameset and Rival cranks.
-
• #24
Ah no worries, good luck with the sale
-
• #25
Cheers.
Due to unforeseen financial circumstances I may have to sell my latest bike, I am trying to sell my Day One, but unfortunately people are interested but not parting with cash.
So basically I may be selling, will definitely know by the end of next week, my 2015 Genesis Croix de fer frameset, size 52cm. I'll be looking for £300+postage, if needed, or £550 for a frameset + deal, which will include everything but the wheels, pedals, guards and rack.
So what you'll get is this years f/f, Hope headset and seat collar.
For the + deal you'll also get Sram Rival cranks, 105 derailleurs and shifters, Salsa Cowbell 3 bars, Deda 100mm stem, Tektro Spyre disc brakes with new discs (160/140) and new pads.
For pics see my cp thread titled Jontea's Croix de fer.
If you are interested, let me know, willing to answer any questions you may have.
Wish I didn't have to sell, but the family finances come first.
Cheers. Jon
