If you look at the geo for the older Cannondales they're actually bigger, which might be why you hardly see them for sale in size 58?

Actually now that I've just checked, it looks like I'm talking total rubbish(ish), 58CM's were actually 57.5, although it does seem that all their measurements are "ish".
