2015-06-17 Rider down, London Bridge/Duke Street Hill

At 8:15 this morning I saw a stopped tipper truck and a damaged bicycle lying in the Duke Street Hill eastbound lane. An ambulance and police were already present. Half an hour later the site had been cleared, let's hope that is a good sign and the rider is OK. Best wishes.

"The cyclist is thought to be a woman her in late 20s. She has been taken to a central London hospital with leg injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening".

The skip lorry involved looks very similar to the one that killed David Poblet just down the road at the junction of Tanner St and Jamaica road in 2011
