I just use a normal messenger bag for normal people. We've discussed the "where do you put the straps" issue on here before, and the consensus was that "everybody does it differently", probably because everybody is shaped differently and has different preferences.
Just get her something reasonably big and funky and be prepared to not be completely heartbroken if she decides to sell it on because she can't make it work in some way. I've gone through approximately 10 gazillion different bags because I decide I don't like the one I have for some reason or other (annoying straps, sits in the wrong place, sweaty back, etc).

Yeah, + 1 to "normal ones"
I'm a big fan of the mission rambler, @Doctor_Cake too
@Cazakstan Haz the vandal
It is big, if you pack it full and I've packed it full plenty of times and had to head check with hand off the bars.I've also got a crumpler and it packs loads into it. But it's an old one from 2000's when they just started out, and didn't have these fancy pockets and stuff. I'm sure they have improved.
There's colour options there if you want it.
For me, ninja black for evah -

I'd also add a +1 for Mission, although I'm a rucksack person these days - I find it doesn't interfere with boobs and its nicer on my back, I used a chrome messenger for years and was happy with it. Bear in mind that if you get her a big bag she will fill it with crap.
The thing I also like about the mission rucksacks is that they are expandable so if you dont need to carry loads of crap they pack down small and are not heavy when empty, which I found the chrome rucksacks were. -

Beautiful bike !
+1000 for the Rambler rucksack - I transport a large laptop, a change of clothes and shoes, two locks and a bunch of random shit in it everyday at it's smallest packed up size - can hardly feel the weight. And use it for food-shopping and general crazy-cargo a lot (you can transport an entire bike in pieces with it)
But what does the trick for me is that it works as hand luggage in planes and is perfect size for a trip of up to a week !
Also use it sometimes to run to work with the waist-belt and it works a charm.Art-direction wise, I would say don't try and mach the colors of the bike because you won't be able to, it will always be slightly off. Stick with black, it will compliment the fade instead of failing to match it ;-)

Love my mission workshop vandal backpack. No issue with straps, fits anything I have tried including an entire groupset in a cardboard box.
Bonus is it works as hand luggage for flights too.

^This, I've used mine for several business trips!
Hello, please delete if inappropriate, not sure of the etiquette of LFGSS ladies, having not spent any time here, as I am not a lady.
I would like to buy a bag for my wife to use whilst commuting, as her old satchel is falling apart and she uses it a lot. I would have gone for something like a bugaboo or PAC messenger bag, but not sure how well it is going to work with her 'assets', particularly the across the chest straps.
She often carries various work crap, a d-lock and shopping for two humans, two children a dog and a cat, so has to be relatively big, bagaboo messenger medium sized I would assume.
Also, this may sound a bit stupid, but would like it to not clash awfully with her bike, which is why the bugaboo would be good, as you can select the colour.
Any help much appreciated,
