sorry about that! But glad I am, as I've just been able to get a nice big roberts track frame.
for the record I'm just over 6'3" and run this with a 110mm/6˚ stem with no issues.

Ah gutted you're selling that mate, miss mine these days! Saying that the Roberts is ridiculous, very worthwhile purchase. Build pics!

Is that seat tube "only" a 56. I have a couple of surly in a 56, but that looks way bigger.

Yep, it'll be missed, no doubt. I'd keep them all if i could, but a Roberts track, THAT Roberts does funny things to me. Build pics will be a definite, but essentially an instant swap of parts from this....no doubt followed by a period of time buying back the same parts i had on previous builds at twice the price!

indeed. it's actually 565mm centre bb to centre TT. 615mm c-t-t

You should do it, this has been an absolute joy to ride. If you don't have, or can't find a cheap drilled 1-1/8th to swap out and assuming its the same fork as mine (was) there's room to have it safely/professionally drilled.

My only issue with that is I fucking love the smooth transition (with integrated bearings) of fork and HT on these frames; would hate to ruin that. I also looked into drilling the OG fork but that wont achieve much result and 'ruin' the forks.
Okay so, slightly shocked that an opportunity to buy a well coveted frame came up and it's strictly one in one out in the bike department for me, up for sale is my Tonic Supernaut.
I recently stripped back the bike collection and chose this above my Burls. There's just something a bit special about it. It's super stiff, nice tight rear clearances, wishbone stays, bombproof and well up there in terms of build quality and craftsmanship.
Tonic Fabrication Supernaut
Ape Size
Raw Finish which has a tough as hell lacquer, so not gonna flake, discolor or distract from the basic qualities of a well made frame.
100/120mm spacing
27.2mm seatpost
68mm BSA/English Threaded BB
1-1/8th headtube
will come with original forks (270mm steerer) drilled for brake, headset and black thomson seat clamp
rrp is bonkers on paper, but worth every penny in my book, anyways i'd like £400 posted (uk)
Website Info HERE
In excellent used condition. There's a light surface scratch on the top tube and small mark where the brake has caught the down tube (see pics) neither have done anything other than superficially mark the coating, there's also a few surface marks on the nds rear stay and around the seat tube from locking up, but again all superficial. There's a few sections of heli-tape around the frame (chain stay, clamp area of race blade, etc) which i can remove if needed.
There are no dents/dings/nasties to either the frame, or the forks and it has never been crashed, dropped, etc.
I am off to strip it down and take some better pics, but to get things moving, here's the most recent pic i have fitted with an enve fork, which I'm keeping.
There's an album of pics HERE since i've owned it in various guises
any questions, just ask.
cheers,
b
