Wasn't outside the Nandos, it was at the junction of Orpheus St and Denmark Hill, the one way system you need to turn left onto if you want to then go down Coldharbour Lane. Got to the Nandos traffic lights just as they were putting up the cordon. Didn't look good, positive thoughts go to the rider.

It's a road I use quite often, it's usually quiet and just full of empty stationary buses but then I've not used it at rush hour.
Positive thoughts for the rider and her family, heal up quick.

^^Will update accordingly

Only good thing about that location is its proximity to Kings A&E.
Fingers crossed for the rider. Thoughts are with her and family and friends...

Ugh, I used to go through that little road system and across to coldharbour lane every day. Thoughts to the rider and her family.

It doesn't sound good.
Hoping against hope that the proximity to the hospital counted for something. :(

Ugh. Horrible to read.
HGV's in rush hour. Why?

Air ambulance called, not sure if they were taken to King's. Although they may just have been in attendance. No info on where they were taken.

I went past a few mins after it had happened- mangled bike in the road, a couple of paramedics doing their thing, police closing the roads. No tent erected or anything. Co-op lorry stopped a few metres ahead of cyclist. Sickening.

Such horrible news. Heal up fast rider.

Just seen this. I really hope she pulls through.
I've seen far too many near misses in that busy loop of roads.

Dark day. Poor thing. Poor family.
Being a woman of a similar age, who cycles through there almost every day, the news especially takes my breath away :(

Tragic news. Rode home past there last night and it was like nothing had happened. On the way in this morning the traffic was very light. I might buy some flowers on the way home this evening.
Reports sadly of a cyclist vs HGV at Denmark Hill. No fatality thankfully but reports are not sounding good.
