• hi,

my wifes bike needs new tyres - currently she has a pair of 'shcwalbe durano' in cream from about 5 years ago. They are still going strong but are definitely worn and need replacing.

The problem I am having is finding white tyres (must be white!) that are of a dcent quality.

Does anyone know of any or can reccomend something?

The ones i am leaning towards are the michelin pro4.

But I just wanted to check i havent missed an obvious choice before i click go.

    Requirements are

    White (or cream)!
    Puncture resistance
    Light Weight
    Speed
    Grip

I have prbably alreday answered my own question but if anyone has any suggestions that would be great

    Cheers,
    Matt

  • Not sure you'll get much puncture resistance from the Pro4 will you?

  • I guess thats why I came here..

ideally I would replace what she already has:

but they don't make them any more.

  • Panaracer Pasela .

  • ha! I just found this and was about to post it..

Panaracer pasela looks like the one

    Thanks kyle_grey

  • I had a pair of Paselas, lots of rolling resistance FYI, very noticeable after replacing slicks with them. Serviceable tyres apart from that, but I wouldn't ever go back to them.

  • Vittoria Randonneurs are very strong and come in white but aren't exactly light. Having tried both I'd go for Pasela. The folding ones are supposed to be better (dunno if they come in white - I think they do).

  • I've got a pair of brand new white 23 Paselas that I don't need. PM me if interested...

  • Thanks for the comments, wish I'd come on here sooner, i wasted hours searching

    Rotten_pims - you have pm..

  • Job done. Very hapy with the results..
    120psi!

Crap photos but you get the idea:

Thanks all for the feedback and rotten_pims for the tyres.
