I'm afraid the say this this is back on the market again!
in slightly different form.....i'll post pictures in a brand new post for it, but just in case anyone was interested straight away i thought i'd just update this thread.
its got a 'real' (ha!) seat post now and some Nitto B483 bars fitted.
It was a punt as to whether this bike was going to work for my girlfriend and turns out, it just didn't quite fit
looking for £250.
Hi all,
I've been hesitating about this for months. I just don't have enough space / have too many bikes so I decided to be courageous and to offer LES for sale... Last time I wanted to do this, I took it for a quick ride, and I liked it so much I decided to keep it... So I need to make sure not to use it at all.
Brief description (see plenty more info in the LES thread from current projects, its history, previous owners, etc)
-Frame: mystery builder (again, check CP thread for more info). Top tube is 55ctc, seat tube is 60ctc (I'm 6"1 - It should not fit me a priori, but more likely a shorter rider... turns out it's good for me as I like shorter top tubes) - Rear facing / track ends with gear hanger.
-Almost NOS Mavic bars - Stem is ahead easton with quill to ahead adaptor. If you're not too keen on this, I can find you a quill stem I'm sure.
-Perrin-Maillard professionel 28h gold hubs laced (DT Swiss dble butted) onto black Mavic Open pros with 6 speed freewheel
-Mad Gaston-like forward seat post by profile design.
-Yellow concor kinda matching yellow stickers
-Fluted Peugeot badged Stronglight crankset with 52T chainring
-Shimano rear mech (old fashion, either 600 or Altus I don't remember) with period matching Shimano single down tube shifters
-Weinman short reach competition brakeset (I can swap for shimano Dura Ace Ax centre pull if you like, but they are not that good, although they look awesome), Outter cable is attached to top tube with Dura Ace collars.
Since I bought it from Theo about 1/2 years ago, I only rode it once on a long-ish ride, the infamous hip hop ride to brighton/cambridge, and few London journeys to the pub, occasionally to work. Never crashed it.
SOLD COMPLETE, LONDON COLLECTION ONLY - £275
