Hi all,
I have a 1998 54cm GT Edge Aero Aluminium 6061 Frame going spare.
One owner from new and was initially built in 1999 and raced until 2013 in various triathlons over the years. A classic, well regarded and successful Aero time trial frame of its time!
I was going to turn it into a GT Aero Track with smooth welds & a tapered head tube but was advised that it is unfortunately not worth it... So here we are.
-> Rear dropouts are 130mm vertical road for 700c wheels (close clearances). Rear derailleur hanger.
-> BB is British, seatpost is 27.2mm and comes with the orginal GT seatclamp.
-> Takes 1" forks, so you can choose either threaded or threadless.
-> Aero cable fittings - rear brake cable runs in the toptube, front and rear gear cables in the downtube.
-> Frame Number 07 70549.
-> Metalic green paint which changes to blue in the light.
-> No dents or dings but the paint & stickers have seen much better days - I was going to strip & polish it. Then put new decals on. The current stickers over over the paint.
Price wise, I believe that £75->£70->£65->£60 is the current market value.
Photos to come later on tonight - viewing & pick up from Brixton.
Cheers
Vince
