Continental Tyres - an error in basic physics

Posted on
  • Just put some new Conti Gravity tyres on the MTB and noticed what must be an intentionally 'clever' but incorrect bit of microscopic moulding in the tread, between the lumps.

    g = 9,81 m/s

    Ppppffft. Conti of all people !

  • Well, you don't want to be pedalling squares, do you?

  • Perhaps the conti chaps have been out drinking with the Surly lot who like having odd messages in the tyre molding :)

    And isn't first rule of internetz "photo's or it didn't happen" ........ coming from a newb here who hasn't worked out how to post photos yet.....

  • lol noobs

  • newbs/noobs put in place :)

  • so g /= 9,81 m/s?

  • g = 9.81 m/s^2?

  • Squared.
