So there was something wrong with the last setup - it kept displaying 0 views until I closed it...
The view count is cached and only updated when the thread is updated, eg when someone replies, or er... you close it.
If you want to update the view count without updating the thread, just edit and save a post you've made in the thread (you don't actually need to amend anything).

@JT Thank you - this is the kind of thing I'm after, but you're right that it doesn't look strong enough for a panier. Has anyone seen anything that is of similar built but at least shorter? That would make it less prone to twisting...
@Scilly.Suffolk Understood. I guess I was also surprised nobody had replied - but then there may not be a a problem-solving reply to my problem... Regardless, lesson learned.

would be pretty easy to machine it, or i'm sure you could find someone to do it for you.

I reckon the mudguard mount things linked to by @JT would be a bit sketchy: probably better to use a second set of P-clips.
The Tubus ones are more robust than most and available in different sizes to suit your stay diameter: more expensive than most too.
I'd be wary of anything other than fairly light loading on the rack though.

I've been using one if those seat post mounted racks - says Max load 15kg, but I've been carrying 20+ kg on it regularly for over a year.

yeah, just double p clips
So there was something wrong with the last setup - it kept displaying 0 views until I closed it... So here it is again:
I'm looking to fix a Tortec Velocity rack on my Condor Pista frame. Before buying the rack I was smart enough to check I need a pair of P-clips but, having never installed a rack before, I completely missed out on the fact that there is another issue in fixing at the bottom.
Now that the rack is here, I realise that my rear dropout does not have anything to fix it to and I need some advice - what's the most effective solution?
I see there are things like Tubus QR Adapter that have been discussed at length elsewhere in LFGSS, but the obvious issue here is my standard bolt-on hub...
Any ideas?
