for the larger footed gent.
Maybe if I cut my toes off ;-)

@BareNecessities Ah really, I would have thought they'd be about right? @DisappointingBob is 6'8" and he's a size 12; maybe he just has under-proportioned feet! :)

I take a 47 in Specialized shoes (which are supposed to be comparable to Shimano in sizing terms). Do you think these would fit?

@Rhodrich I would think so yeah. I tried some Specialized MTB shoes in a 46 before I settled on my Mavics (also a 46) so if you're the size up from me in those it would make sense that you'd fit these? They seem fairly true to a size insofar as I can do them up, but they just feel a bit too roomy around the toes. Happy to send them out to you if you want to gamble?
Oh, and just to make things clear, @invertedcriss also has peripheral dibs as he's local to me, so if you're not comfortable taking them without trying them @Rhodrich I'll pass them on. Let me know.

sold.
So I got fucked over winning these rad shoes on eBay these recently. The seller overcharged on (v. slow) postage, and they don't fit, so I've been left feeling a bit sour about the whole thing...
...but, my loss is your gain! In order to redress the karmic balance I want these to go to someone who will actually wear them, and as I'm in Norwich I'll send them 1st Class Recorded to the lucky buyer like the original seller should have done in the first place; all for £20!
They're a pair of retro (80s/90s?) John Luck 'Mega' cycling shoes, with two velcro straps, both 2 and 3 bolt cleat compatible (Time, SPD, SPD-SL, Look). In pretty good condition, soles included, and a jazzy colourway to boot.
They're a size 47, and do not come up small (like the seller listed) so would fit a UK 12 perfectly. I'm a 46 in all of my other cycling shoes (Shimano, Mavic, Adidas) and these are super comfy, but just a touch too big to be practical.
Perfect for summer, for the larger footed gent.
Dibs followed by a PM please.
