Any pics of it with wheels? Tripple triangle frames have been growing on me…
-
• #3
Ohhh that's soooo nice.
-
• #4
Really nice, shame it's far to small for me :(
-

My Donohue has the same fucking annoying scratches on the rear triangle - I guessed it could be track racks. Bump for a bloody nice frame, and I'm very surprised it's still here!
-
• #7
Another of my Orrells has it too. Must be the racks. Cheers.

Dig! Does anyone know why Neil moved from regular frame shape to the triple triangle?

I don't think he particularly moved to triple triangles, just when people asked him to make them. Custom builders build what they are asked to so... They're in theory stiffer but with a bit of added weight. Hipster valve is high though. #longlivethetriple

HI there is still available this booomb?
-

Neil Orrell is the club sec with my daughters track league sessions, 12,14 year olds
Just sayin, nice frame by the way
-
• #17
Yeah he still has a lot of involvement in the national cycling centre, even now. Thanks.
-
• #18
Yep he seems like a really nice guy. I mailed him about mine, told me about the tubes and offered a set of decals for a really cheap price (in case anyone wants to repain this^).
And AMAC:
Fuck skiing, keep the bike. Only a few weeks back you were after mine, you bought this... You are nuts and I claim my £5. -
• #19
Oh, and mine had massive scratches on the stays too. Must be a northern thing, maybe Manchester velodrome has files mounted on the racks to stop people being soft southern shites about their fancy paint finishes.

Aha, I picked up two Orrell Triples in the same week and kept the one I preferred. So don't worry Skully I do still have one! Pictures to come. (I've never owned a track frame with such tight clearances.) Ultimate radness.
Want to keep this one in the forum though so just selling it straight on as I got it.

Would you do just the frame? Don't need the forks
-
• #22
Safe!
-
• #23
did he tell you when your's was built. The Fruit Salad (which i got back thanks to the police) is from 1985.
-
• #24
No sorry, I only wanted the frame when I bought it as well, unless someone wants the fork??? In which case I could split. But unlikely.
