As above, Mac Mini that was purchased for backup and home media centre April 2011.
£300 ONO
Geekbenched when I first got it http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/390814 but has since had 4GB DDR3 stuffed into it. If you're not confident in doing so I'd be happy to whack 8GB in it for some uplift. Some claim you can whack 16GB in it, I don't think it's worth it.
Machine is in great condition (it's sat next to my TV what do you expect) and works really well as a home media, gaming (steam games with Xbox controller wut!) or as a desktop computer. Also this was the last generation of MacMini's that they did with an optical drive so if like me you have a luddite in the house they can still play their CDs and DVD's (sorry no blue ray). Currently running Yosemite but if you'd like to roll back the clock I'd happily install any previous version of OS X down to Leopard (before that you might get some hardware interoperability).
Primary outputs are HDMI (native) and digital/analog audio out. Supplied in original box with all cables (power and HDMI/DVI conversion cable) discs (Mountain Lion) and manuals (i.e. none, the arrogant b*stards!) . HDD will be zeroed entirely.
I'm happy to deliver to Bath, Bristol or Central London or post tracked & insured at the buyers cost. If you don't know me, I'm a gent and many others will attest to this :)
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
> Quote text by starting lines with >
Mention another user by @username
For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Your code goes here
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
