I loved this bike while I rode it, but had to finally admit it was too big for me: the bb to top of seat tube 53 - 54cm and top tube is 56 - 57.
I am not selling it complete as I don't have time to rebuild it, and spares are always useful, however I do still have most of the bits so if you would like to make an offer and rebuild it yourself I'm all ears!
I have a set of pitlock security skewers which the seatpost thread is cut too short to fit my current bike on, but they are perfect for this one - if you would like to add £30 to the price of the bike I'll throw them in as well and get a whole new set for myself.
So, as it is, you would be getting the following:
frameset, which was resprayed when I got it, but ceramic paint, so hasn't lasted well - could do with some love...go powder coat if you want it to last! has brazed on attachments for both rear and front pannier rack
wheels: mavic A119 32 hole with tiagra hubs - I think I did around 11,000 miles on it over 2/3 years but never had a computer so give or take.
tyres (28 x 700c) , front continental touring plus, never taken off, never punctured! Rear is a kenda.
bb is new - shimano UN55 sqare taper
cranks 165mm triple
stronglight chain rings 28/38/48t (38t needs replacing, as will the chain)
8 speed cassette (13/28t)
tektro R538 brake caliper on the rear
quill stem
dura ace front mech
deore xt rear mech
The bike is registered on bikeregister.com so I will also transfer ownership over to whoever buys it on there.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot

For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
