Maybe, install and setup everything apart from the brakes and then take that to the shop? i.e. shifters, cranks and derailleurs mounted but calipers not, those bits are all fairly simple with youtube's aid, as I imagine are hydro brakes but like you say, you'd need a bleed kit

If it was me, I'd buy the tool and learn how to do it myself.

Yoav, that's sort of my thought too. I'll need the tool eventually

I agree...start off with as much info as possible...theres always someone on the forum to guide you through
So, I have a groupset (105 to Rival) to change, which includes going from cable activated discs (actually Hy/Rds) to fully hydraulic. I don't currently own a bleed kit and have never fitted a hydraulic disc from scratch.
So do I do it myself, which I reasonably confident I can do, but equally confident I will find frustrating and annoying or do I take it into a shop. I have had nice work done in the past (on rebuilding wheels) by Full City, who have quoted me around a ton. I'm a bit torn, that is a bit steep for something I am sure I can do, but it does avoid an awful lot of swearing.
