Campagnolo chainring bolt

Posted on
  • Had a super little ride this morning, 30ish miles across the Southern Alps of Romney Marsh (highest hill: drain cover). Steel Goff on 48:18, sun shining, birds singing, light winds, near perfectiion until I noticed the missing bastard chainring bolt.......

    Anyone?

  • I saw you mention that elsewhere and was going to PM you when I happened upon a single Campag bolt on eBay, then saw it was Pista and assumed you were using a double.

    Bear with me...

  • Failing which I have spare, non-Campag bolts.

  • Top man, manual labourers of the World unite! Bid bidded for the fleabay one, but happy to pay for any steel or alloy non-coloured that you have spare to tide me over. Normally I wouldn't be fussy, but it's going on a C-Record Pista I've had from new.....

  • Having actually checked, I have a SS female and a double male spare, so some ghetto filing/spacers would be needed.

If that's of any use, it'll cost you £1 for the post!

  • No worries, just scrounged a ghetto special from a mate, save the Posties legs. Thanks a million anyway.

If anyone else has a genuine Campag single, I'd be happy to pay for a spare (presuming I 'win' the fleabay one).
